Fourth of July weekend festivities 

The Fourth of July is a week away but, there will be a lot of holiday celebrations this weekend.

Vice President Kelly Ashby of Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce said starting Thursday Muskingum County will have multiple events going on that will allow everyone to go out with their families.

“There are great things happening all the time but, especially this Fourth of July said Ashby. “It’s a great time to get out and explore with your family, you have guests in from out of town and there is a lot of fun things happening in the area.”

Ashby said this is also an ideal time to explore the stores around the county.

“There is wonderful opportunities to go national road east and explore the attractions and all the stores and boutiques that are on that route,” said Ashby. “There are some fantastic sales going on at Colonial Cottage and Touch of Thread, just to name a couple.”
