Fundraiser for Linda Grubb at The Barn

There will be a benefit to raise money for Linda Grubb as she battles breast cancer on Saturday at The barn at four in the afternoon.

Grubb has had multiple surgeries and is going through Chemotherapy. Grubb’s Niece, Desirae Chema, is looking for the communities support.

Cancer is something that unfortunately is part of almost everybody’s life, said Chema. My family tries to reach out and help anyone that we can. We’re just looking for a community to try and do that and help with our situation.”

Chema and her brother Dylan are frequent customers at The Barn. When their aunt’s medical bills started adding up, they spoke with The barn owner about putting on a fundraiser.

“My part of it is just be able to help the community and help someone in need, said Jim Watson Owner of The Barn. “Especially with cancer that is near and dear to all of our hearts. It’s a terrible disease and I really hate having to see anyone have to suffer through the treatments.”

There is no cover charge and there will be multiple concerts for the fundraiser.  There will also be a silent auction.
