Stars and Stripes On the River preview

Zanesville, Ohio- Zanesville Jaycees host the annual Stars and Stripes On the River.

The two day event will be on both July 3rd and 4th at Zane’s Landing Park.  Jaycees President Chad Tyson says this event honors the historical significance of the holiday.

“I think its a great celebration of the Fourth of July and of our nations Independence,” said Tyson. “It brings the community together for such an important and historic event, obviously for our Country.”

The fireworks start at 9:45 on Tuesday to cap off the event but, there is plenty of food, music, and fun over the two days.

“There will be live entertainment both days,” said Tyson. “There’s three local bands performing as well as a couple local dance groups.”

Tyson says the fireworks will take place on the Y-bridge and should be visible from all around Zanesville.
