Zanesville, Ohio- The Muskingum Valley Old Timer’s Baseball Association is inducting ten members into their Hall of Fame.

The induction will take place on July 15th at the VFW hall. The inductees will be Bruce Barclay, Larry Merry, K.C. Frick, Jody Spencer, Brad Wolfe, George Hiotis, Jim McGinnis, Ron Hermen, John Pagath, and Dave Denton.

“We are recognizing the people who played in our system,” said Bollinger. “The people who deserve to be in their and their names needs to be on the wall and the plaques that we are having.”

Hall of Famer Patrick Bollinger says the induction to the hall is based on what a person does both on and off the field.

“Playing for little league, Babe Ruth, Muskingum Valley Old Time association league and the people for what they’ve done for the organization for years,” said Bollinger. “You didn’t have to play baseball, it was what you did for baseball to be able to be eligible for our Hall of Fame.”

Shortly after the induction, the organization’s Junior Pioneers team will be defending their title as they will play in Muskingum County from July 26th through the 28th.
