Carole Noll

Carole Jean Noll, 91 of Zanesville, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026, at her home at The Gables of Westerville. Carole was born May 29, 1935, in Akron OH. She was the daughter of Hazel Jacobson and Donald Helfrick.
She is survived by son-in-law David Vocke of Towson, Maryland; daughter Sandy (William) Dinan of Westerville, Ohio; son Daniel (Sherri) Noll of Columbus, Ohio; and daughter Kelly (Dean) Schockling also of Westerville; sister Sue Sarager of Modesto, CA; eleven wonderful grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Carole was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frederick Francis Noll, whom she married April 5, 1956; sister Nancy Silva; her parents and beloved daughter, Robin Vocke.
Carole was a woman of deep and unwavering faith whose love for God guided every aspect of her life. She was an active member of Saint Thomas Aquinas Church. Carole was devoted to her family and so proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her greatest joy was spending time with them. Carole was a role model and inspiration to her family and others through her kindness, strength and selfless love. She was loved by so many friends, and she cherished the special friendships she had at The Gables.
Carole and Fred enjoyed being snowbirds in Florida. She was an avid tennis player and golfer and enjoyed playing euchre. She loved watching a variety of sports, especially The Ohio State Buckeyes.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Capital City Hospice staff for their kindness and support which provided comfort and peace to their mother and entire family.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at the St. Thomas Catholic Church with Fr. Stephen Ondrey officiating. Burial will conclude at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
