Pet of the Week featuring the dog Charlie

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The weekly tradition of pet of the week is every Friday, and this Friday is no different.

This dog’s name is Charlie, and his adoption fee is $125 plus his tags. Charlie is an energetic dog that wants to get out and play. Charlie is also deaf.

“He’s going to be a dog that hopefully someone who’s had experience dealing with deaf animals before,” said Executive director Jody Murray. “If not, we can certainly give a lot of guidance and help folks, so they know how to deal with that a little bit better.”

Next Friday on July 21st, there will be a Lorena ride. There are about 15 spots

left.

“We want people to arrive around 5:30,” said Murray. “Take off is about 6 O’clock. It’s going to be a fun evening. We’ll have music, food, and some beverages. It will be a very nice outing for anybody who wants to come out and do that.”

Tickets are $25, and the ride will be about 80 to 90 minutes long.
