Seneca Lake Park Fireworks Cancelled due to Weather
New Philadelphia, OH —‘s Independence Day fireworks display at Seneca Lake Park has been cancelled due to forecasted severe weather.
Based on the recommendation of the professional fireworks contractor, Grand Finale Fireworks, weather conditions are expected to create safety concerns for the setup and launch of the display and could compromise the quality and integrity of the show.
The safety of visitors, staff, and the fireworks crew remain MWCD’s top priority.
At this time, a rescheduled date has not been determined. If the display is rescheduled, MWCD will share that information through its website and social media channels.
