Robert “Joe” Tom

Robert Junior “Joe” Tom, 89 of Zanesville, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017. He was born June 4, 1928 to the late Olis and Marguerite Dunn Tom. Robert was retired from Cameron Brothers with 50 years of service and enjoyed farming. He was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his son Robert (Dixie) Tom; two daughters: Barbara (Greg) Matson and Janet (Rick) Shelly; three sisters: Louise Dunn, Betty Orsban and Alma Jean Phillips; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Ellen Dovenbarger Tom.
Graveside services will be held at 11AM, Friday, July 21, 2017 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, with Pastor Teters officiating. THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD has the distinct honor of serving the family.
