Former Zanesville City Law Director Dies

A former Zanesville City Law Director has died. 61-year-old Doug Moorehead passed away last evening at Riverside Hospital in Columbus following a sudden illness. Besides serving the City of Zanesville Moorehead was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Vietnam War. Moorehead loved boating, gardening and his motorcycle. Hillis and Hardwick Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Calling hours are Friday January 22nd from 5:00 until 8:00 pm. and 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Hillis and Hardwick. The funeral is also Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Moorehead will be laid to rest with full military honors in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
