Dutro’s Dealership sneak peek of new building

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The new Dutro Dealership had its soft opening Saturday.

The dealership building is located in downtown Zanesville. Sales Manager Dave Wallace said downtown revival was a major part of this new complex.

“During the construction we brought a lot of jobs in,” said Wallace. “We tried to use as many local companies and local things that we possibly could to build the facility. The more cars we sell, the more tax dollars that are generated, the more jobs are created. We’re trying to renovate the downtown area. Downtown has a lot of things going for it. Park your car, walk around for an hour, and just check out everything going on downtown.”

General Sales Manager Mark Falls said the building has come a long way over the past several months, but there is still more to come.

“I got here in December,” said Falls. “There wasn’t any drywall in the building. The roof wasn’t on it. It has come a long way since December. We’re pretty excited about it. We hope the community is excited about it. There is still a lot more to come. There is going to be a 30-foot fountain down there. So there is still a lot more to come to it. We are all pretty excited about it.”

Wallace said the company is excited about building and rebuilding the downtown area.
