Patricia Ross

Patricia L. Ross, 77, of Dresden, died Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at her home.

Born December 19, 1948, in Canton, she was a daughter of the late Alan and Marion (Ward) James and a 1966 graduate of West Muskingum High School. Pat attended Bowling Green University to earn her Bachelor of Science and finalized her Degree in Physical Therapy at The Ohio State University. She retired after 30 years from Licking Memorial Hospital as Physical Therapist. Pat was a member of Meadow View Church of Christ, and an avid antique collector. She enjoyed going to auctions and more recently, loved to buy and sell antiques on Ebay. She had a fine eye for valuable items, anything from jewelry, glassware, Longaberger baskets to useful antique household gadgets. Pats true love was her family, she loved her husband, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed watching and cheering on her grandchildren at all their sporting events.

Surviving is her husband of 51 years, Denny T. Ross, whom she married on July 12, 1975; a son, Kyle Ross; a daughter, Marie McPherson; four grandchildren, Mackenzie Ross, Mason McPherson, Myka McPherson, and Macklin Ross; a brother, Scott (Claudia) James; and two nephews, Matt (Angela) James and Alex (Kelly) James.

Friends and family may visit 4:00-7:00pm, Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil | Wagner | Marshall Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at the funeral home with Minister Sam Dunn officiating.
