Dana Kim Couch, 75, of Senecaville, passed away Thursday (August 6, 2026) at the Countryview Assisted Living Center, Lore City.

He was born January 29, 1951 in Senecaville, son of the late Ben Couch and Patsy (Secrest) Smith.

Dana attended Caldwell High School and retired from the Union Steel Workers Union after thirty-nine years of service as a steelworker.

He was an avid NASCAR fan, especially of Rusty Wallace. He enjoyed working on old Roadsters.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ina Secrest; and a sister, Cheryl Couch.

He is survived by three daughters: Angie Davis, Misty Larrick, and Jennifer Paden all of Cambridge; a half-sister, Debbie Blackstone of Cambridge; six grandchildren: Michael Allen Albaugh, Michele Van Dyne, Chevelle Landman, Gunner Larrick, Austin Couch, and Kody Paden; and eight great-grandchildren: Vada, Emerson, Caroline, Colt, Bristol, Bowen, Mason, and Kaizen.

Visitation will be held Saturday (August 8, 2026) from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Senecaville, where funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. with Evan. Mark Beros officiating.

As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests that memorial contributions in Dana’s name be made to the Guernsey County Dog Shelter, 62824 Bennett Avenue, Cambridge OH 43725.
