Ralph Wade

Ralph L. Wade, 72, of Zanesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on August 13, 2026, at his family’s home.
He was born on January 13, 1954, in Zanesville, Ohio, son of the late Ralph Paul Wade and Donna (Harper) Wade. Ralph was Baptist by faith and a veteran of the USMC. He worked for JR Mock and Able Roofing for over 50 years. He enjoyed his auctions and would be seen every Wednesday at the C. Thomas Auction House in Frederick Town. Ralph was a proud grandfather and loved attending football and baseball games at the ballfields.
Ralph is survived by his 9 Children: Donna Wade, Ralph (Cerridwen) Wade, Keith Wade, Melissa Lambert, Kyle Wade, Natasha Wade, Jennifer (Bobby Ford) Wade, Justin (Tonya) Moyer, Josh Wade; siblings, William “Randy” (Jackie) Wade, Vickie Bates, Steve Wade, Christine Leah Dobbins, Terry Wade, Anthony Wade; 27 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren on the way; special friend, Darla Wade; several auction buddies; several nieces, nephews, cousins; special cat, Pumpkin.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Rhonda Wade; brother, James (Deborah) Wade; and sister-in-law, Deborah Wade.
The family would like to thank the caregivers for the special care given to Ralph.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday August 18, 2026, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1:00 PM with Andy Young officiating. Burial will conclude services at Greenwood Cemetery in Zanesville.
