AEP donates $150,000 to American Red Cross Amid Disaster Relief Efforts

COLUMBUS, Ohio — American Electric Power, AEP Ohio, is supporting recovery efforts through a financial contribution to the American Red Cross, inspired by the critical work being carried out across their Central Ohio service area.
“We recognize the challenges our customers are facing right now, and we’re committed to supporting them throughout the recovery process,” said Renee Shumate, external affairs manager for AEP Ohio. “Partnering with organizations like the Red Cross allows us to help communities in additional ways while our crews work to restore power. We take pride in investing in the people and places we serve. It’s part of who we are.”
AEP took immediate action to support the Red Cross and communities impacted by recent events, demonstrating its commitment to the customers and neighborhoods it serves.
