Linda “Sue” Strouse

Linda “Sue” Strouse, age 85 of Zanesville, died, Monday, August 17, 2026, at Licking Memorial Hospital, under the care of hospice. She was born Monday, June 9, 1941, in Pennsville, the daughter of George McInturf and Dorothy (Geddes) McInturf. She married Richard “Dick” Strouse on Sunday, June 17, 1962.

Sue was an avid bowler, enjoyed gardening, knitting, and crocheting; was a huge college basketball fan, followed kick boxing, and girl’s college softball. She was a loving and caring mother who taught many things to her daughters, and grandchildren, and cherished the time she spent with them.

In addition to her husband, Sue is survived by three daughters, Sherry (Joseph) Rhea, Shauna (Gerry) Miller, and Shayla (Bob) Allen; seven grandchildren, Mirranda (Matt) Beck, Lakota (Daniel) Marcum, Chase (Amber) Miller, Mitch Miller, Savannah Miller, Ryan Allen, and Casey Allen; seven great grandchildren; siblings, Sonja (John) Benjamin, Peggy (Ted) Harris, Randi (Cindy) McInturf; one sister-in-law, Rosie McInturf, and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded death by two siblings, Rodney McInturf and Terry & Sandi McInturf.

Friends may call Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, at the Hillis Combs Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, where services will follow at 3:00 PM, with Rev.
