Rose Harding

Rose Mary Harding (Clapper), age 77, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 21, 2026, at her home. She was born on February 23, 1949, to Wilbur and Glenna Clapper.
Rose married James Harding, March 15, 1969, and they shared 57 years of marriage together. In June 1972, Rose Mary accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, beginning a lifelong journey of faith that was precious to her and central to who she was.
Rose Mary will be lovingly remembered by her husband, James Harding; her children, Carla Casanova and Troy Harding; her grandchildren, Ethan Casanova, Eyan Casanova, Elliott Casanova, and Emmett Casanova; and her great-grandchildren, Kamron Thomas, Marley Thomas, Noah Thomas, Soul Bly Casanova, and Cash Casanova.
She is also survived by her sisters, Norma (Jerry) Coyle, Edna (Larry) Huston, and Jane (Ron) Ayers.
Rose Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Glenna Clapper; her sister, Doris Swope; and her brother, Dale Clapper.
Her faith in Jesus Christ was the central theme of her life. The words of 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 were especially meaningful to her: “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”
Rose Mary has now received the promise she held onto in faith. She is no longer suffering but is in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Though her family and friends grieve her earthly absence, they know that they “sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.” 1 Thessalonians 4:13
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made directly to a single mother with children in need, in Rose Mary’s memory.
Private services are being held. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
