Flood Relief Music Fest Happening at The Barn

ZANESVILLE, OH – Musicians are coming together to help raise funds for the victims of the recent floods in our area.

This Sunday, August 30th, beginning at Noon down at The Barn, will be the Flood Relief Music Fest.

Jim Watson, the Owner of The Barn, says the day will be filled with music, raffles, drawings, all to benefit those in the Crooksville and Roseville communities.

“We have a lot of great music acts that are going to be here on our stage, those guys are donating their time.” Watson said. “Just to generate some excitement around people coming down and helping to support our neighbors.”

Paul Quinn, the Event Coordinator, says they could also use a few more volunteers to help make the day run smoothly.

He also provided the line of musical acts set to take the stage.

“We have 9 acts playing on Sunday, everyone from National Recording Artist Git Shorty, to some long-time area musicians, Late Horizon, in fact, Michael Crane who is a member of Late Horizon is going to be running sound for the day as well. But Donnelly Quinn, Fat Chicken Cadillac, Salvage Title which is a band from the affected area, so we’re excited about that.” Quinn said. “Also Matt Frampton and Sweet Misery are playing so we’re really excited about all the different acts that are coming to entertain.”

The Flood Relief Music Fest kicks off at Noon on Sunday at The Barn, located at 1947 Linden Ave.
