Coshocton, Ohio- A benefit to help pay for a women’s funeral is going on in Coshocton.

The money raised from the benefit will help pay for Judith Lindell’s funeral. She had life insurance for about a year and a half but, she didn’t meet the minimum two years needed to pay for her funeral.

Family member Madison Brandt said there is a silent auction of many different items that have been donated. There will be live music and food including Louisiana gumbo. Brandt said they are hoping the benefit will raise at least $4,000 which will pay for about half the funeral.

The benefit is occurring at the American Legion in Coshocton on October 14th, from 4 p.m. until the last person wants to leave.
