Lt. Governor Jim Tressel visits John McIntire Elementary School

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Ohio’s Lt. Governor Jim Tressel visited John McIntire Elementary School on Tuesday to talk about the Team Tressel Fitness Challenge.
The free statewide fitness program helps students in grades 3 to 8 set goals and build healthy habits to reach their full potential. Tressel was joined by student-athletes from Muskingum University and their mascot, Magnus the Muskie.
50 colleges and universities across Ohio are joining Tressel in his goal of teaching students about cardio, strength, flexibility, nutrition, sleep, and an attitude of gratitude. Tressel and the Muskies were also joined by DeVier Posey, a former wide receiver for OSU, in the Canadian Football League, and several NFL teams.
Tressel, Posey, and the Muskingum University students showcased exercises and stretches that can lead to healthy living while explaining the Team Tressel Fitness Challenge.
