‘Share the Warmth’ cold weather drive

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The 3rd annual ‘Share the Warmth’ Cold weather drive is requesting donations to help those in need.
The ‘Share the Warmth’ drive donations will benefit the Eastside Community Ministry Clothing Bank. People can donate new or lightly used blankets and winter clothes. ECM Executive Director, Jamie Trout said the clothes will be distributed through their clothing bank.
“We serve a lot of the homeless through our clothing bank,” said Trout. “We also serve families and senior citizens. So, it’s a wide variety of people that we serve. We see an average of a 125 visitors a week in our clothing bank and it’s all free.”
Trout says last years cold weather drive took care of more than 650 people. Partner of Stratos Wealth Partners Wayne Wycoff said this event not only helps the community, but it would not be possible without the community’s support.
“The community is essential and they’ve responded with tremendous donations to help this be possible. We couldn’t do this without the community,” said Wycoff.
People can donate items via the drive thru and drop off on November 4th from 9 am to noon at the Colony Centre parking lot in front of Mattress Mart.
