It’s been a beautiful finish to the workweek! We’ve seen clear skies throughout the morning and afternoon, with summer-like temperatures persisting. Temperatures have warmed to the low to mid 80s this afternoon, which is above normal for this time of year. If you have any outdoor plans this evening, including high school football, conditions are looking fantastic! The skies will remain clear this evening, with temperatures falling through the 60s.
The skies will remain clear throughout tonight, which will allow temperatures to plummet once again. Lows by Saturday morning will fall to the low 50s. High pressure will keep eastern Ohio under mostly clear skies throughout Saturday morning and afternoon. However, high pressure will taper off by Saturday evening, allowing moisture to rapidly increase. The skies will turn mostly cloudy by Saturday evening, and a few locations could see a light shower. Many will stay dry from the weak disturbance and will just experience the cloud cover.
Clouds will decrease early Saturday night, resulting in partly cloudy skies throughout the overnight. Another high pressure system will take over the Great Lakes and the Northeast by Sunday, allowing eastern Ohio to see pleasant conditions to wrap up the workweek. The skies will be partly cloudy on Sunday, with temperatures warming to the mid 80s. The warming trend will continue during the early parts of the workweek, as highs will be in the upper 80s.
Some locations could also see highs in the low 90s for both Monday and Tuesday. The high pressure will impact eastern Ohio for the majority of the workweek, keeping conditions dry and sunny. The high pressure will taper off by next Friday, due to a weak disturbance. The system will drag mostly cloud cover next Friday, with a small rain chance to wrap up the workweek.
