Ruoff Mortgage has a new home in Zanesville

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Ruoff Mortgage has moved up the street and is inviting home buyers and sellers to check out the new location. The business, formerly on Northpointe Drive, is now at 3934 Taryn Trace in Zanesville and celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday.

According to Rusty Darner, the branch manager, the new location’s proximity to other businesses like Starbucks and Wingstop has made Ruoff Mortgage more visible to potential customers.

“We offer conventional VA, USDA, and FHA loans. We specialize in a lot of first-time homebuyer programs, zero money down programs that have really helped a lot of first-time homebuyers excel this year in this community buying homes,” Darner said. “We also help many people that are selling and, you know, buying a new home with the right strategy and set up for success on that end as well. So very well versed for all, you know, types of home buyers, whatever stage in the homebuying process they may be in.”

Last week the Federal Reserve voted to raise interest rates by a quarter of a percent, but according to Darner, that shouldn’t be the sole factor in deciding when and if you should buy a home.

“So the best advice is you need to get with us or a trusted mortgage advisor and have a personal consultation that’s revolved around your specific situation. Cause whatever someone’s specific situation is, it may be the best time for them to buy, regardless of interest rates. It may not be,” Darner said. “But until you have that conversation, you don’t know. So the market and rates are important. I totally agree with that but it is not the entire story. The individual’s financial situation really tells the story regardless of market circumstances on rates.”
