Gus Macker 2027 Is Signed, Sealed and Delivered

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The return of the Gus Macker 3-on-3 basketball tournament to Zanesville is finally official.

During a recent Gus Macker Zanesville executive committee meeting Chairman Dominique Proctor announced that the corporate contract has officially been signed, the dates of July 10th and 11th, 2027 have been sealed and the $5,000 dollar deposit has been delivered to Gus Macker corporate.

The accomplishment signifies the success of the local committee’s seven-month, persistent pursuit of communication and collaboration between the national tournament committee, local sponsors and event facilitators.

Proctor is breathing a sigh of relief now that the biggest hurdle has been cleared and nearly everything that could be accomplished before the holidays already has been.   

Team registration, site preparation and volunteer recruitment will be high on the agenda when the committee begins their next phase in January.
