OHSAA Football Computer Rankings: Week 7

ZANESVILLE, OH – We’re through week six of the season, and the playoffs are drawing near for high school football. The standings continue to take shape, taking a look at the latest computer rankings, courtesy of the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA).

Only local area teams are listed within the top 16 of each region in respective divisions. Seeds 1 through 12 advance to the playoffs which begin in early November, with the top four seeds earning first round byes.

 

DIVISION I

REGION 3

  • 14th place: Newark (3-3 record), 4.933 (Down 4 spots from Week 6)

 

DIVISION III

REGION 11

  • 2nd place: Licking Valley (6-0), 12.58 (Same as Week 6)
  • 7th place: Sheridan (5-1), 8.40 (Same as Week 6)
  • T-9th place: Zanesville (4-2), 7.83 (Same as Week 6)
  • 11th place: Granville (4-2), 7.73 (Same as Week 6)
  • 15th place: Tri-Valley (3-3), 4.28 (Down 1 spot from Week 6)

 

DIVISION IV

REGION 15

  • 2nd place: New Lexington (6-0), 13.13 (Same spot as Week 6)
  • 5th place: West Muskingum (5-1), 9.41 (Up 2 spots from Week 6)
  • 7th place: Philo (4-2), 8.05 (Up 1 spot from Week 6)
  • 8th place: Heath (4-2), 7.66 (Up 3 spots from Week 6)

 

DIVISION V

REGION 19

  • 8th place: Ridgewood (4-2), 5.23 (Down 1 spot from Week 6)

 

DIVISION VI

REGION 23

  • 3rd place: Newark Catholic (4-2), 8.35 (Down 1 spot from Week 6)
  • 15th place: Shenandoah (4-2), 3.55 (Down 3 spots from Week 6)
