Muskingum County K-9 Adoption Center Dogs of the Week; Meet Tank and Fats!

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – This week’s dog of the week is a band of beefy brothers ready for their forever home. Meet Fats and his brother Tank. They are 9 and 8 years old, respectively and both have come to the Muskingum County K-9 Adoption Center looking for a kind and loving home. K-9 Adoption Center Volunteer Doug McQuaid tells us all about these gentle giants.

“Both are great with other dogs, both have been around other cats both seem to just love kids. They’re just amazing dogs looking for a safe, soft place to retire. They love to go for walks, they love to take treats, they’ll even sit for treats,” McQuaid said. “They’d be a great companion for a family that’s active. They would need to go for walks daily so it would just be fabulous for these two to be able to go together.”

Robin McQuaid is also a volunteer at the K-9 Adoption Center. She’s inviting you and your dog out to the adoption center’s 3rd annual Trunk or Treat on Monday Oct. 12 from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

“If you have a trunk or a business who is interested in setting up, you can go to our events page. Volunteers of the Muskingum County K-9 Adoption Center and click on the events tab. There’s a place there where you can register and we would like to see everybody who’s been supporting us,” Robin said. “This event is for our pups and we just hope all of you can stop by and have a good time. ”
