Larry Hines

Larry D. Hines, 78 of Zanesville, died, Monday, October 5, 2026, surrounded by his family at Willow Haven Care Center. He was born Wednesday, July 28, 1948, in Zanesville, the son of Lionel D. Hines and Dorothy (Rapp) Hines. He married Sandy (Manning) Hines on Wednesday, August 2, 1967.
Larry managed Frank’s Bar & Grill for many years, and retired from Crawmer Trucking as a Truck Driver. Larry was a happy go lucky guy, never met a stranger, loved to dance, and was always the life of the party. He coined his famous statement, “how ya like me now.”
Larry is survived by two children, Tammy Hasselberger, and Terry (Jill) Hines; six grandchildren, Brittany (Tracy) Hill, Joshua (Wesley) Valentine, Johnny (Rachal Wilcox) Lloyd, Caitlyn Hines, Jon Weekley, and Dawson Hines; several great grandchildren; one sister, Karen (Mick Willison) Hayes, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Sandy Hines; one brother, Rick Hines, and one son-in-law, Norm Hasselberger.
