Caleb Cares 4 Kids Spaghetti Dinner, Silent Auction Returns!

Caleb Cares 4 Kids 2026 Dinner

ZANESVILLE, OH – An annual fundraiser is making its return this weekend.

The 12th annual Caleb Cares 4 Kids Spaghetti dinner and Silent Auction will take place at 4PM on Saturday, October 10th, at Coburn United Methodist Church.

Caleb Silvia, the President and CEO of Caleb Cares 4 Kids, says this all started 15 years ago when he was just a kid himself.

“I was thinking of a way to give back to the community and so I thought back to my time in Nationwide Children’s Hospital and how I spent about a week there.” Silvia said. “I picked a toy off the toy cart, that was really the only memory I had and so I decided, that year, to do a toy drive and that’s how it started. Of course, we’ve grown and grown, so we do all kinds of fundraisers and donations throughout the year.”

The cost of the dinner is by donation and that could include bringing a new, unwrapped toy to be donated to a child that needs it.

Some of the items up for grabs from the Silent Auction are gift baskets, door prizes, and much more with the proceeds headed to the Children’s Miracle Network as well as Genesis Healthcare Systems.

“It’s kind of incredible just to see, not even the growth, but the support I think more than anything.” Silvia said. “We have over 100 donors this year for the auction and that keeps growing but also just the turnout, seeing more and more people, it’s really incredible.”
