Candidate for U.S. Senate visits Zanesville as early voting is underway

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Democratic candidate Sherrod Brown spoke to a crowd of around 100 people who attended the event at Ohio University Zanesville. During Thursday’s evening event, Brown spoke to voters about concerns ranging from the War in Iran, AI data centers, and general economic conditions.
According to the latest CNN polling, Brown has a 6-point lead over Republican candidate and incumbent Senator Jon Husted. This is a dramatic shift for a state where President Donald Trump won by 11 points.
“I don’t really comment on polls much, especially polls from outside groups that I don’t really know how they’re taking,” Brown said. “But what I do know is that people are unhappy about the war. They’re unhappy about fertilizer prices, about gas prices, about diesel prices. You’re unhappy about prices at the grocery store. They know the system is rigged. They know Jon, Husted voted for this war and continues to and is on the wrong side of these issues. ”
Early voting is underway in Ohio and Election Day is Nov. 3. You can find your polling location by visiting your county’s board of elections website. Another article diving deeper into the event can be found on WHIZNews.com on Saturday evening.
