ZANESVILLE, OH – An evening full of music will be happening this Sunday at Central Trinity United Methodist Church.

On Sunday, the 11th will be the 29th Annual Organ Recital beginning at 3PM with performances by Jim McLaughlin and some of his friends.

McLaughlin, the Director of Music, says this is just a small gift back to the community for always accepting and supporting his passion of sharing music with others.

“It’s been a blessing, you know, I was a teacher for 31 years in the City Schools.” McLaughlin said. “I’ve been a church musician my whole life, and I still teach private students but it’s nice to see the intergenerational side of music. You enjoy it, but you can also share it with someone else.”

The Recital will feature songs just about everyone knows and end with an America 250 salute as well as cookies.

It’s free and open to the public, but if you’re unable to attend, you can catch the livestream on Central Trinity’s website.
