Misti Cox

Misti Cox

Misti Cox was a one-of-a-kind woman whose life was filled with laughter, love, and a personality that could never be forgotten. Born on October 30, 1977, Misti passed away on October 10, 2026, just 20 days before her 49th birthday. Though her time here was far too short, the mark she left on the hearts of those who loved her will last forever.

Misti was funny, loving, outspoken, and truly the life of the party. She had a way of making people laugh, turning ordinary moments into unforgettable memories, and making sure everyone knew when she had arrived. She was the kind of woman who said what was on her mind and never backed down from standing up for herself or the people she loved. She didn’t take anything from anybody and had absolutely no problem putting people in their place when they needed it. You always knew where you stood with Misti, and she wouldn’t have had it any other way.

Behind that strong personality and fearless attitude was a heart full of love for her family. Her family was an important part of her life, and the memories they shared with her will be treasured for a lifetime. She leaves behind her beloved husband, John; her daughter, Allye, and son-in-law, Steven; her son, Tyler, and daughter-in-law, Katheryn; and her nine precious grandchildren: Adyson, Scarlett, Oakley, Waylon, Moon, Sapphire, Bodhi, Kayce, and Winter. Misti also leaves behind her loving brothers, sisters, aunts, cousins, and many other family members and friends whose lives were touched by her unforgettable personality. Whether she was making them laugh, speaking her mind, or simply being her one-of-a-kind self, Misti created memories that each of them will carry forever.

To her husband, she was a wife and partner whose place in his life can never be filled by another. To Allye and Tyler, she was Mom — a woman whose love, personality, and presence will forever be a part of who they are. To Steven and Katheryn, she was a mother-in-law and part of the family they built together. To her nine grandbabies, she was Grandma, a part of their family story whose memory will continue to live on as they grow. To her brothers and sisters, she was a part of their lives and memories that can never be replaced. To her aunts, cousins, extended family, and friends, she was someone who brought laughter, honesty, and a little bit of excitement wherever she went. Each of them will carry a piece of Misti with them, keeping her spirit alive through the stories they tell, the memories they share, and the love that will never fade.

Losing Misti leaves an emptiness that words cannot fully describe. There will be days when her family would give anything to hear her laugh one more time, hear her voice, see her smile, or share just one more moment with her. The holidays, family gatherings, and everyday moments will never quite be the same without her. But even in the sadness, there will always be memories that bring smiles through the tears — stories of her humor, her boldness, her big heart, and all the things that made her unmistakably Misti.

Misti was never meant to be ordinary. She lived life in her own way, spoke her mind, loved her people, and left an impression that will never be erased. She was a woman who could make you laugh, tell you the truth whether you wanted to hear it or not, and leave you with a story you would remember for years. She wasn’t afraid to be herself, and she certainly wasn’t worried about what anyone thought of it. That was Misti, and that is exactly how she will be remembered. There will never be another woman quite like her.

Though her time on earth has ended, her love will continue through John, Allye, Steven, Tyler, Katheryn, her nine grandbabies, her brothers, sisters, aunts, cousins, and all the family and friends who were fortunate enough to know her. Her life will be remembered not only by the date she was born or the day she passed away, but by the countless moments in between that made her special.

Rest peacefully, Misti. You were loved more than words can say, and you will be missed more than words can ever explain. Your laughter will echo in our memories, your love will remain in our hearts, and your spirit will live on in the family you leave behind.

Until we meet again, keep watching over your family. Give them strength on the hard days, comfort when the tears come, and little reminders of your love when they need them most.

Forever our wife, our mom, our grandma, our sister, our family, our friend, and our Misti.

You may be gone from our sight, but you will never be gone from our hearts. You were one of a kind, and you will be loved for a lifetime. ❤️
