A local church hosts Thanksgiving dinner for the community

Zanesville, Ohio-  A local church is doing something extra for those in the community this holiday season.

Saturday St. Paul A.M.E Church hosted its annual community thanksgiving dinner for church members and those in the community. 

“This right here is our annual community Thanksgiving dinner. We try to have it each and every year and we’ve been doing it for the past couple of years,” said Event coordinator, Stella Haley.

One local organization came to support and donate hats and gloves for those in need for the holidays.

“We had decided to partner with Stella Haley to give hats and gloves to those that are needing warmth this winter,” said Jessi Mickey of Leadership Muskingum. 

St. Paul A.M.E church plans to continue hosting their annual thanksgiving dinner in the years to come.
