Crooksville Teen Injured in S.R. 93 Accident

A Crooksville teenager is seriously injured after a Thursday morning accident.
 

It happened at 7:20 a.m. on State Route 93 near Shawnee.
 

According to the Lancaster Post of the State Highway Patrol, 18-year-old Phillip Boring was driving south on S.R. 93 when he went off the left side of the road, struck an embankment and then overturned.
 

Authorities say Boring was partially ejected from his vehicle.
 

Boring was taken to Hocking Valley Community Hospital with a head injury and then was later transferred to Grant Medical Center in Columbus where he is listed in serious condition.

The accident remains under investigation.
