MVHC: Player of the Game – Week Nine

MVHC

ZANESVILLE, OH – On a Friday night full of fun, excitement, and league title clinchers, week nine of the high school football season proved to be a back and forth, cannot miss week full of thrilling football.

Only one “MVHC: Player of the Game” sufficed from week nine, and not for the first time this season, Tri-Valley running back Leevi Wade had himself a career game. Already crossing the 300-yard threshold in a single game twice earlier int he season, the junior star bested himself in a rivalry outing against Sheridan this past Friday night.

Running all over the field for 362 yards set a new personal best, and beat his own program record, doing so over 38 carries and five touchdowns. Did we also mention he had five touchdowns against the Generals in the double overtime 2025 thriller? The best may still be yet to come for Wade, who not only helped deny Sheridan an outright Muskingum Valley League big school title, but put Tri-Valley in the driver’s seat to clinch at least a share with a win over John Glenn in week ten.

Congratulations to Leevi Wade.
