Black Friday at Colony Square Mall

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Black Friday is only a few days away and that means its time to start getting ready for one of the busiest shopping days of the year.

Colony Square Mall in Zanesville will be open 6 to 11 P.M. on Thanksgiving Day. Business and Marketing Director Kevin Pinson said even though the mall is open Thanksgiving Day is an optional opening for the retailers.

“Most of the Nationals will be open, so there will be plenty of shopping opportunities on Thanksgiving,” said Pinson. “Then on Black Friday, we open at 8 A.M. and we have several promotions going on that day. First, if you spend $100  or more with mall retailers you can get a $10 gift card. That applies to receipts from both Thanksgiving and Black Friday so you can bring those in.”

The mall will also be giving away a thousand dollar shopping spree,” said Pinson. “People can sign up from 9 A.M.until 3 P.M. The winner will be announced at 3 P.M. and the will receive ten $100 gift cards to different retailers.”

“We’re also hiding some elves around the mall. If you look and find a little scroll of paper that says open me, it has a gift elf inside. You can bring that in for a free stadium chair or cooler.”
