Michael Fuller

Michael Jay Fuller, 69, of Zanesville passed Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at the Genesis Hospital ER.

He was born on Tuesday, May 21, 1957, in Zanesville, Ohio, the son of the late Edgar “Ed” Harold Fuller Jr. and Virginia Mae “Ginny” White Fuller.

Michael went to Ohio University where he received his bachelor’s degree and later got his master’s degree from Muskingum University. He taught Spanish at Philo High School from 1984 to his retirement in 2015. Michael enjoyed reading, listening to music, going to concerts and the Renaissance festival. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends playing Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit.

He is survived by a sister, Molly (Jeffrey) Ross; a brother, Martin (Martine) Fuller; five nieces and nephews, Dylan (Stacey) Ross, Spencer (Kandice) Ross, Mac Fuller, Jessica Fuller and Mitchell Fuller; two great nephews, Weston and Walton Ross; and his pet companion, Lady Puffington Cat.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Fuller.

Per Michael’s wishes a cremation has taken place, and no services will be held.
