ZANESVILLE, Ohio- A representative from the Juvenile Court stopped by the Commissioners chamber.

Robert Smith, the Court Administrator at the Juvenile Court, talked to the Commissioners about purchasing a vehicle for the staff to use.

“We are in need of a transportation vehicle for our detention staff and we believe that we have enough money left over in our budget to purchase a vehicle. And I basically wanted to get the Commissioners blessing before we entered into a fairly large contract to buy a new car.”

The court received the blessing they were hoping for and will be able to move forward with purchasing the car. The detention staff will be able to use this vehicle to transport juvenile’s to appointments, court hearings, and to get groceries and run other business related errands.
