O’l Dirty Christmas was a success

ZANESVILLE, OHIO- One local musical organization is using their musical talents to bring holiday cheer in a new way.
Saturday, The O’l Dirty Strangers presented their annual O’l Dirty Christmas festival. Families and friends came together to bring in the holidays all while supporting a great cause.
“It’s just nice to be able to give back and do something nice for the community and all that. it’s a fun thing, especially a lot of times it’s like when you’re playing, you don’t always get to see these others bands. So it’s just nice to see the comradery of that and doing something good for the community,” said musician, Steve Spires.
The event was jam packed with musical talents, food, a toy drive, and even art for both children and adults. Proceeds from the event will help benefit The National Alliance on Mental Illness here in Zanesville.
“I love kids, I love Christmas and I love helping kids. I love sharing my art with the world because I feel like a lot of people don’t get that opportunity to,” said local artist, Halley Hammonds.
N.A.M.I and The Knights of Columbus are just two of the amazing sponsors for this event. If you missed it this year, you won’t want to miss next years!
