Loved ones honor Vivian MCcall for her 100th birthday

ZANESVILLE, OHIO- Not every age is a milestone age, but reaching your 100th birthday is certainly cause for a celebration! This past week Vivian MCcall turned 100 years old, so over the weekend her loved ones honored her in a birthday celebration at the Helen Purcell Home.
“I’m the only one left in my generation so I think it’s quite an accomplishment. But I’ve had a good life, I’ve had a lot of friends and I’ve enjoyed every minute of my hundred years,” said the birthday girl, Vivian MCCall.
The celebration kicked off with hors d’oeuvers, sweets, and those that care for her the most.
“She does everything in moderation. She’s very frugal about everything she does. She doesn’t waste anything because she grew up through the depression and without a father. So she’s learned over the years to make everything count,” said Nephew, Bill Hannah.
“They taught us to work and earn our way. She is a tremendous roll model, she’s been working hard her whole life and setting the example for us as we grew up,” said Nephew, Don Hannah.
MCcall is one bright and wise woman who tells us that she’s already planning her next birthday party!
