How the community feels about the holiday season

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- With Christmas just around the corner, we caught up with Zanesville shoppers to see what the holiday season means to them.
Sunday, Colony Square Mall was full of families, friends and loved ones doing some last minute Christmas shopping.
“I would probably say that Christmas is a good time for all kinds of friends and family to come together and have a good time and spread cheer throughout the community,” said Finish Line Employee, Connor France.
“What Christmas looks like to me is just like spending time with my family and friends and being able to spread holiday cheer,” said Riverview High School Student, Skyler Stewirt.
“Its just like getting to spend time with my family and being around the people I like to be around,” said Coshocton Co. Career Center Student, Kellyn Donnaker.
As Christmas break is a time that both teachers and students look forward to, this Tri-Valley senior say’s she’s just looking forward to spending time with their family.
“What Christmas means to me is getting to spend time with a bunch of my distant family that doesn’t live around here and just spending the holiday with them,” said Tri- Valley student, Alysa edwards frick.
People say even with the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, there’s always something to be thankful for.
