Varsity Foundation ‘SportsBash’

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- A non-profit Foundation is having it’s second-ever SportsBash at the Muskingum County Fairgrounds.
The Varsity Center’s second annual sports bash will feature over $20,000 worth of sports memorabilia. A prize will be given away every five minutes. The event will culminate in a grand prize.
“The winners choice of a dream trip for two including airfare, accommodations, and two tickets to the event. The winner gets to choose between the NCAA Men’s Final Four and Championship game, the Buckeye Bowl game, the major league baseball all-star game weekend… or the Monday and Tuesday practice rounds at the Masters in Augusta,” said President Rob Sharrer.
The event will have live boxing matches throughout the day. This is a major fundraiser for the Varsity Center.
“The object is to raise fund for youth activities for those of Muskingum and surrounding counties. Last year we were fortunate enough, our first year, to give away over $11,000 to over 22 different organizations,” said Sharrer.
There will be a surprise guest who will be signing autographs for anyone who attends. Sports Bash will happen on February third from 1 to 8 p.m. Tickets cost $50 per person to attend. You can buy tickets at VarsityFoundation.com
