Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center hosts prom and bridal show

CAMBRIDGE, Ohio- One annual bridal and prom showcase has made it’s way back to the city of Cambridge.

Sunday the Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center hosted the 18th bridal and prom showcase. The venue was filled with countless women and even some men who came out to get ideas for upcoming occasions.

“What you’re seeing a little bit right now in the back round is what we have available here at the Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center that we can do for different ceremonies as well as receptions,” said  Managing Director Jodi Schott. “Right now I’ve had a few that have already been back here that still haven’t booked a venue that are looking to fill that spot.”

Although this event showcased attire for both prom and bridal, Schott said many brides attend this event and gather information to assist with planning their big day.

“I think they are doing a lot of information gathering. A lot of it, especially here at the center, you only have so many Saturdays in a year, so they’re booking if the dates available. But you know, their going to go home and their gong to talk about it, then they’ll probably give everybody calls this week. There are a bunch of vendors in there right now that are giving discounts if they book from today’s show, so that’s a good thing. A little bit of anything that can happen in there”, said Schoot.
