ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center has a new dog ready to be a part of your family.

Gillian is a year old and she has been at the adoption center since October. She came in with her sister who was adopted a few months ago. When she was adopted, she found a new friend.

“She actually came in with her sister, they look just alike except she’s white. her sister has since been adopted. Now we’re just waiting for Gillian. She loved her sister. When her sister got adopted, we threw in a stuffed bear for her. She slept with that bear every night and she never chewed it up. She loved that bear,” said Deputy Dog Warden Brittany Calihan.

Gillian’s adoption cost is $105 and she is ready to be adopted immediately. She gets along with some dogs and all people.

“She is a little dog selective but, she does get along with some of the dogs we have here. So if you do have a dog, we would definitely recommend bringing them out and met her,” said Calihan.

If you are interested in adopting Gillian, you can set up an interaction with her by calling the adoption center at 740-453-0273.
