Former Zanesville Businessman Dies

A well known Zanesville businessman has died. 89-year-old Tom Nash passed away Thursday at Genesis Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville. Nash was the former owner of Zanesville Fabricators. He was also an active member of St. Nicholas Church where he was a great supporter of Catholic Schools of Zanesville, and the St. Nicholas Festival. He also served his country in the United States Army. Nash was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 505, where he was instrumental in the Y-City Gun Fest fundraiser. He was also a member of the American Legion, Mended Hearts and was honored by Forever Dads Tribute to Fatherhood. Calling hours are Sunday from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Hillis Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, where a Christian Vigil Service will be held at 6:45 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11:00 am at St. Nicholas Church. Nash will be laid to rest at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
