‘Doggie Day’ Newton

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center has a new dog ready to be a part of your family.
The Adoption Center would like you to meet Newton. He was picked up as a stray in November. He is two years old and loves to spend time with people.
“He’s an extra sweet dog. He’s a very calm playful dog. You can see we put a jacket on him today. It’s a little cold out. We knew Newton would let us put it on him and he likes wearing it,” said Deputy Dog Warden Brittany Calihan.
Newton is looking for his fur-ever home and is ready to be adopted immedently. He is up to date on all of his shots and has had his surgury. His adoption fee is $105 and Calihan said he will make a wonderful addition to a family.
“He is a very calm boy. He knows how to sit and he’s a white dog and he’s got these cute little freckles on him ears, which I think are adorable,” said Deputy Dog Warden Brittany Calihan.
If you are interested in adopting Newton, you can set up an interaction with him by calling the adoption center at 740-453-0273.
