3 Injured in Accident on State Route 60 South

The Zanesville Post of the Highway Patrol says it investigated  a three car accident Tuesday morning.  It happened on State Route 60 South near Dietz Lane.  Lt. Matt Boyd says one vehicle was traveling north on State Route 60, another vehicle was traveling south and a third vehicle was traveling behind the southbound vehicle.  Lt Boyd says the third vehicle slammed into the second vehicle and then sideswiped the first vehicle.  Boyd says the driver of the third vehicle is identified as 43-year-old Michael Bobo of Philo.  He was cited with failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.  All three drivers were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  The accident happened just before 6:30 a.m.
