Local business set to reopen after renovations

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- A local favorite restaurant is set to reopen Friday after closing its doors for renovations.
Grillin’ Daves Style on Linden Ave has been closed for about 30 days now. The restaurant owner, Dave Dailey, said it was time to give the building a facelift. The renovation features a new roof and more.
“Also, the roaster we’re standing beside here. Needed rebuilt. Apparently, Zanesville loves barbeque and it runs a lot. And about every 2 years we send it out to get it rebuilt.”
Dailey said the building isn’t the only thing that got an update. The menu did as well. Dailey said customers will find some past favorites back on the menu along with new dishes to try.
“We also renovated the menu. I guess that is a renovation too. We brought some of the old things back that we had that we took off. One of the most favorites is fresh cut sweet potato fries. Some new things we’re putting on: I’ve got what we call ‘Grillin’ Pie’. We’re putting Fritos in the bottom, kickin’ beans in the middle, and any kind of meat you want on top and then some toppings. Goes real well in other parts of the country that I’ve been at. And then we’re also going to be doing pork nachos. Load them up however you want. Nachos on the bottom. Pulled pork and your choice of toppings.”
Dailey said he also plans on occasionally surprising customers with new items appearing on the menu.
“We’re going to be trying to surprise the customers every once in a while with a new item that’s just going to come out on the menu.”
Grillin’ Daves will reopen this Friday. Winter hours are Tuesday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
