Coshocton County flooding update

COSHOCTON, Ohio-  Coshocton County Emergency Management Agency has extended its flood warning until February 27th.

According to the National Weather Service, the water level from the Muskingum River in Coshocton County has passed the 15-foot flood stage. It is currently at 15.8 feet. It said there is minor flooding in some spots. The N.W.S. predicts the river will continue rising to near 16 feet mark by early Monday morning.

According to N.W.S. at 16.0 feet, flooding can start to impact the Lake Park area along the Walhonding River and flooding along Mill Creek north of Lake Park and along Route 83. Flood waters could also begin to enter yards along County Route 1A.
