Sheriff Thorp: Deputies at County Schools Monday

The Licking County Sheriff’s Office will have deputies on site at county schools on Monday. Sheriff Randy Thorp says that includes the following schools: Lakewood, Licking Valley, Watkins and Northridge. Thorp says this is not in response to any specific threat, it’s simply to be there and greet the students in a friendly manner at schools and to ensure them they can count on the school administration, the community and the Licking County Sheriffs’ Office to provide them with a safe and comfortable learning environment.
