Gearing up for The First Friday Art Walk

ZANESVILLE Ohio- It’s that time again where art enthusiasts come together to  enjoy exceptional pieces from local artist.

As The First Friday Art Walk is just two days away,  Artist Kristen Brown says she’s always loved painting and creating positive art in a world full of negativity.

“I’ve always loved art. I’ve loved painting and creating things that aren’t already out there and just putting things out there that are positive because there’s so many negative things that are put out. I’ve been doing art since I was little. I also went to Columbus College of Art and Design and graduated in 2008. I moved back here about three years ago, so this will be my three year anniversary having my art studio, so I’m pretty excited about that,” said Artist, Kristen Brown.

Although many of the artist have similar specialties as it pertains to their art form, each of them offers something unique in their own way.

“There’s always new art to see. There’s people that come and set up tables here and studios all downtown. I think that all of our artists have our own unique things. One of mine is using bright colors and outlining them with little black lines and details and splashing art on there but there’s so many treasures around. Everybody should come and check out everyone’s art,” said Brown.

To meet Artist like Kristen  and enjoy her one of a kind pieces, come out to The First Friday Art Walk this Friday at The Masonic Temple from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
