Cambridge avoids River View’s rally to advance

DRESDEN, Ohio – A heroic second half effort wasn’t enough for River View in Wednesday’s district semi-final game with Cambridge.

At halftime River View was 0-27 from the field and trailed the third seed Bobcats 18-0. They came out strong in the second half and got the deficit within six points. However, it wasn’t enough as Cambridge hung on to win 43-33.

Lily Ritz was the top scorer for Cambridge with 15 points

The Lady Bobcats are moving on the district finals to play Maysville Saturday at 2 p.m. at Muskingum University.
